This specification specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marks, packaging, transportation and storage of low smoke and non halogen (low halogen) flame retardant cable materials (hereinafter referred to as low smoke materials) for wires and cables.
2 varieties
Dd-h: low smoke and low halogen PVC flame retardant sheath compound dd-j: low smoke and low halogen PVC flame retardant insulating material
Dw-h: low smoke and halogen-free polyolefin flame retardant sheath material dw-j: low smoke halogen-free flame retardant polyolefin insulating material

4 test method
4.1 dielectric strength test shall be conducted according to GB / t1408 standard.
4.2 the tensile strength and elongation at break test shall be conducted according to GB / t1040 standard.
4.3 low temperature impact embrittlement test shall be conducted according to GB / t5470 standard.
4.4 density test shall be carried out according to GB / t1033 standard.
4.5 oxygen index test shall be conducted according to GB / t2406 standard.
4.6 the thermal aging test conditions shall be in accordance with GB / t2951 2 standard.
4.7 smoke density test shall be conducted according to GB / t17651 standard.
4.8 pH value test shall be conducted according to GB / t17650.
4.9 HCl release test was conducted according to GB / t17650 standard.
5 Inspection rules
5.1 inspection methods and requirements
5.1.1 the low smoke insulating materials produced by qualified suppliers have stable product performance (returned without quality problems within one year), and spot check once a month; The performance of low smoke sheathing compound is stable (no quality problem occurred within one year and returned), and sampling inspection shall be conducted at intervals.
5.1.2 for the low smoke insulating materials or samples of the qualified suppliers or the first suppliers, the samples shall be sampled for type test for the first time, and then the five supplies shall be sampled for sampling inspection. After passing the test, the samples can be transferred to batch sampling inspection; For low smoke sheathing materials, each batch of sampling inspection should be carried out. If the samples are qualified for five consecutive times, it will be transferred to the sampling inspection of alternate batches.
5.1.3 if the low smoke and halogen-free insulating materials and low smoke and halogen-free sheathing materials are found to be unqualified once in the sampling, they shall be sampled according to the provisions of × ×.
5.1.4 for each batch of low smoke insulating materials and low smoke sheathing materials, the quality assurance certificate or test report of the supplier's materials shall be attached.
5.1.5 sampling method
2 bags or more for each batch.
5.2 test items
5.2.1 inspection items
A) low smoke insulating materials: extrusion appearance, tensile strength before aging, elongation at break before aging, density and oxygen index.
B) low smoke sheath material: tensile strength before aging, elongation at break before aging, extrusion appearance, density and oxygen index.
5.2.2 the performance that cannot be detected shall be accepted according to the manufacturer's test report or warranty, and the test shall be outsourced if necessary.
6 packing
The low smoke material should be packed in vacuum aluminum plastic composite plastic bags and packed with polyethylene / kraft paper composite bags. The net weight of each bag is 25 ± 0.2kg, but negative tolerance is not allowed per ton.
7 sign
The package shall be marked with the name of the manufacturer, trademark, product name, batch number, color, date of production, weight, and color mark with product certificate.
8 enclosure
When the low smoke material enters the factory, the quality inspection report or quality guarantee certificate of the manufacturer shall be attached with the goods. The type inspection report of legal inspection department shall be attached to the first loan supply. After the normal loan supply, the type inspection report of the statutory inspection department of that year shall be submitted once every two years.
9 transport
During transportation, it should be protected from the sun, rain and damp, and the package should be protected from damage.
10 keep in storage
Low smoke materials should be stored in a clean, cool, dry and ventilated warehouse. The storage life is 12 months from the date of manufacture.
