1. Dense cable

The flame retardancy of multiple cables in dense configuration shall meet the requirements of appropriate categories according to the "combustion test method of bundled wires and cables", as well as the principles of cable configuration, required prevention of catastrophic accidents and economic rationality.

For the following places or circuits that need to be energized within a certain time under the action of external fire, the exposed cables shall be protected against fire or cables with fire resistance shall be selected. Such as fire fighting, alarm, emergency lighting, DC power supply for breaker operation and preservation power supply for emergency shutdown of generator set; Computer monitoring, dual relay protection, security power supply and other dual circuits share the same channel, and one of them is not isolated from each other.

2. Exposed cables shall be protected against fire

When the number of cables is small, fireproof coating and wrapping tape can be added to the cable or the cable can be threaded through the fire-resistant pipe. When there are many cables in the same channel, they should be laid in the fire-resistant trough box, and the breathable type should be used for the power cable. The semi closed type can be used in the environment without flammable dust. When the cable protection section laid on the bridge is not long, the fire retardant package can also be used.

Incombustible mineral insulated cables can be used in oil tank farm, important wood structure public buildings, high-temperature places and other situations with high fire resistance requirements and acceptable laying, installation and economic performance. When the self contained oil filled cable is exposed in public corridors, passenger tunnels, bridges and other situations requiring fire prevention treatment, it can be buried in sand. For the cable trench close to oil-bearing equipment such as high-voltage current and voltage transformer, the trench cover plate of this section should be sealed.

3. Dense places

In places with dense cables or closed channels with high safety requirements, automatic fire detection and alarm devices suitable for reliable environmental action shall be equipped. The oil supply system of exposed oil filled cable shall be equipped with automatic fire alarm and locking device which can reflect the oil injection state. The dense parts of underground public facilities, the terminal settings of multiple refilling oil cables, and other places with high safety requirements can be equipped with special fire fighting facilities such as water spray and fire extinguishing.
