Comparison between low smoke halogen-free power cable and traditional PVC wire

Characteristics of low smoke halogen-free wire:
(1) The tensile strength is greater than that of ordinary PVC wires: the tensile strength of ordinary PVC wires is greater than 1.05kgf/mm2, while that of low smoke halogen-free wires is greater than 51.2kgf/mm2;
(2) Good weather resistance (- 30 ℃ ~ 105 ℃);
(3) Good flexibility (hardness 80-90);
(4) It has non mobility (because no plasticizer is added to the product formula, it will not have mobility);
(5) No toxic black smoke will be generated during combustion (a small amount of white smoke will be generated);
(6) It has high volume resistivity: PVC wire is generally 1012 ~ 1015 Ω / cm3, and low smoke halogen-free wire is greater than 1016 Ω / cm3;
(7) It has good high voltage resistance characteristics: PVC wires are generally resistant to more than 10kV, while low smoke halogen-free wires are up to more than 15kV;
(8) It has good elasticity and viscosity.
Low smoke halogen-free flame retardant wire and cable material is the key point and development direction of flame retardant wire and cable in the future. At present, China's low smoke halogen-free flame retardant wire and cable materials mainly rely on imports, which are expensive and limited in application. With the rapid development of China's economic construction and the improvement of safety performance requirements, there is an increasing demand for low smoke halogen-free flame retardant wire and cable. Poly stone chemistry is increasing its efforts to develop low smoke halogen-free flame retardant wire and cable materials. The technology is mature and has entered the practical stage.
