For joints with large difference in cross-section size between single strand aluminum core wire and multi strand copper core flexible wire and copper thick core wire, hexagonal hydraulic connection pad in method shall be adopted for joints with large difference in cross-section size of copper thick core wire, rather than clamp crimping method. For example, 16mm and 30mm copper core wires are connected. Similarly, the joints with branches can also be hydraulically connected. The newly-built overhead insulated distribution lines with rated voltage of 1kV and below are not allowed to be wound, but shall be connected with clamps and connecting tubes. When the line is lgj-400 / 65 or less, use 100t hydraulic press for crimping; For conductors of lgj-500 / 45 and below, it is appropriate to use 200t hydraulic press for crimping.
During hydraulic connection, the upper and lower dies shall be aligned, the pipe shall be flat, and the pipe orifice shall coincide with the mark. If the pipe has flash after pressing, it shall be filed off and polished. After pressing, the pipe shall be free from obvious distortion and bending, otherwise it shall be straightened. For overhead lines that cannot be connected by clamp crimping and hydraulic pressure, explosive pressure method can be used for connection, but the pipeline must be * * * highly clean.
