Revision of code for cable design of electric power engineering

This specification is revised by Southwest Electric Power Design Institute of China Power Engineering Consulting Group in conjunction with relevant units to the code for design of cables in Power Engineering (gb-1994) in accordance with the requirements of the notice on printing and distributing the formulation and revision plan of national standards for engineering construction from 2001 to 2002 (JB [2002] No. 85) issued by the Ministry of construction. The main technical contents of the revision of this specification include

The main technical contents revised in this specification include:

1. The selection requirements for the number of medium and high voltage cable cores are added;

2. The selection requirements of cable insulation type are added, and the relevant contents of adhesive impregnated paper insulated cable are cancelled;

3. The requirements for * * * small section selection of protective ground wire with main core section of 400mm2800mm2 are added;

4. The requirements for cable section and material when multiple cables are connected in parallel are added for the power supply circuit with large current load;

5. General selection requirements for cable terminals are added;

6. The content of directly disconnecting the metal layer of the cable and conducting insulation treatment is added;

7. The metal layer grounding requirements of three core cable of AC system are added;

8. Relevant provisions on the allowable distance between cables and pipelines of urban cable system are added;

9. The requirements for the setting of overhead bridge maintenance channel are added;

10. The requirements for setting spacing of safety holes in cable tunnel are added;
