Production and technical standards of wires and cables
Due to the development of modern civilization, high-rise buildings are becoming more and more popular. In the distribution system of high-rise buildings, the reliability, economy and safety of power supply are becoming more and more important. Therefore, ordinary wires can not bear energy, so there is the design of new wires and cables. So what are the production and technical standards of wires and cables?
1. Radial type: the low-voltage distribution room directly supplies power to the cables on each floor. This method has good reliability, but requires a large number of cables, bridges and large electrical shafts, with high cost and poor economy.
2. Link method: transfer the cable from the low-voltage distribution room to the distribution box on a floor, and then link the power supply from a floor up (or down) layer by layer. This method has good economy. However, because the more floors, the lower the safety factor, and the step-down factor is multiplied step by step, the reliability is poor, so it is rarely used.
3. Partitioned trunk type: a high-rise building is divided into several unit areas. Each unit uses cables to supply power from the low-voltage distribution room, and then distributes power to each floor in the unit area through radial distribution. This method has good reliability and economy, and is often used.
4. Trunk cable branching method: one or several trunk cables are led out from the distribution room, and each floor is connected and branched on the trunk cable. This method has good economy and considerable reliability of radial distribution in theory, but the construction is troublesome. More importantly, when the floor branch head is made on the main cable, affected by the cable structure, on-site construction conditions and personnel quality, the joint quality is uneven, and the reliability of the actual operation is not satisfactory. However, this method prompted people to think of special manufacturing of connectors and cables, which gave birth to a new generation of building distribution cables - branch cables.
Branch wires and cables are produced to meet these requirements of people, so as to innovate wires and cables on the basis of ordinary cables and apply them to a wider range of places.
